We have been learning to write explanations.

We have been writing about our environment and pollution (air soil water).we have learned about global warming and plastic.We have written to explain the problem and how we can help solve the problem.



Pollution


Pollution is a very major problem at the moment our sea creatures are dying because plastic is being swept out of the land fill and into the ocean.every year about 8million tons of plastic ends up in our ocean that would be 5 plastic which is equal to 5 plastic bags full of plastic.

sea creatures are eating the plastic that goes into the ocean like turtles for example could be instinct in a few years if we don't start looking after our ocean landfill so easy and take notice to what its doing to the environment and our seas.if ever go shopping don't take a plastic bag just take your own bag so you can reuse whenever you want.

There are more major problems with plastic around the world for example there are 5 patches of plastic which are located in The North Atlantic North Pacific South Atlantic South Pacific and the Idian Ocean.

The biggest garbage patch is the North Pacific garbage patch which has 1.8 trillion Pieces of plastic

America

America is the 4 largest  country in the world some people call it the U.S,USA, or United states or sometimes America.In America The area of it is 9.834 million K².There are different places in America like the desert in Arizona.It snows in Alaska.

Population

The population of america in 2018 is 327.2 million also it is multicultural so that's a lot of different cultures like Mexicans and Indians. In California the population is  39.56 million. 

States

There are 52 states in america.The smallest state is Rhode Island and the largest state is Alaska interestingly,on the American flag there is a star or a stripe for every state

Famous Places

There are some famous places in America.USA there is a famous street named Hollywood Boulevard.On the footpath the different actors have star concreted  into the ground.When people visit America they will most likely to visit the Grand Canyon Yellowstone national park.

Famous people

In America there are famous people like Tom Brady he was the Patriots quarterback and Lebron James plays position as a small forward in his team.And Kevin hart is a Famous actor in America

I personally wouldn't visit america because of all of the bad crimes rapist and shooting that happens there but if i would to visit i would go to nice places like Hollywood Boulevard and go see all of the nice views.

One day maui's teina came back from a tiring day of fishing for ika.When maui saw his brothers he was intrigued to board there waka to fish with the

But there brothers made up excuses so he couldn't go with them.So that night he crafts his own hand line so he weaves with flax and ties the jawbone onto the handline then he did an old karakia.In the morning maui snuck onto the waka hiding himselfs underneath the hull.They paddled out to sea.Then he revealed himself to his brothers,they were shocked.Then maui repeats his karakia when he said the karakia his brothers caught more ika then they have ever caught before.Then maui wanted to use his fishing line,so he demanded some bait they exploded into laughter.Maui had enough of being laughed at so he punched himself in the nose causing himself to bleed on his fish hook.After that maui made his way towards the front of the waka then he casted his hook into the water in a instant he hook was taken by tangaroa that's when the brothers stopped there laughter.They begged maui to cut the line repeatedly but he held tight and the fish slowly came up towards the surface
